Israeli media continues to issue repeated warnings to the security and military apparatuses regarding the rapid and continuous development of the Egyptian army and the strengthening of its military capabilities.

In a recent report by the Israeli Hidabroot website, which follows the extreme right-wing trend, it indicated that there is a growing feeling in Israel regarding the increasing power of the Egyptian army, wondering whether the Israeli army is prepared to face a scenario of a comprehensive war against Egypt.

This report comes shortly after the screening of a two-part documentary broadcast by the Israeli news channel i24NEWS entitled “Volcano of Rage,” which highlighted the growing military power of the Egyptian army.

During the documentary, a political analyst specializing in Egyptian affairs noted that the Egyptian army has witnessed tremendous development since signing the peace agreement with Israel, and is now among the most powerful armies in the Middle East.

The analyst added that the Egyptian army, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, is sending clear messages to Israel, especially through the display of armored forces in Sinai, which raises questions about the Israeli army’s readiness to confront this development.

In another report by the Israeli Nziv website, it was noted that Egypt is working to update its aging naval fleet and is looking for more advanced submarines, including the German “Type 209” submarines.

Egypt is also in talks to design the “Barracuda” submarine in cooperation with the “French Naval Group,” as part of its plan to meet the future needs of the Egyptian fleet.
The report also indicated that the Egyptian Navy has witnessed a major modernization in recent years, as it cooperated with French, German, and Italian shipyards to meet its demands, and is now looking to purchase new submarines to strengthen its naval capabilities.

Other Israeli reports revealed what they described as “secrets” about Egyptian missile tests, indicating that the Jabal Hamza site in the Western Desert is one of the most important missile testing sites in Egypt.

This site has been used since the 1950s to develop missile programs in cooperation with international experts.

Israeli media reported that Egypt is currently focusing its efforts on developing advanced missile technology that meets its security and strategic needs, with a focus on testing liquid-fuel rocket engines.

Ultimately, these reports confirm that the Egyptian army continues to enhance its capabilities on an ongoing basis, which raises concerns in Israeli circles about the military balance of power in the region.
