The runway of Aleppo airport in northwestern Syria was hit at three different points in the attack attributed to Israel last night, as an official Hebrew channel escaped.

This came according to an intelligence report published by the Israeli satellite and intelligence solutions company, ImageSat International (ISI), as reported by the Israeli Kan channel.

The channel said: “The satellite images published by the company on Wednesday, reveal the damage caused to Aleppo Airport as a result of the air strikes attributed to Israel”.

The images show three strong strikes on the landing and take-off runways.

In addition, damage from the attack attributed to Israel last week can be seen on the runway.

At the same time, repair work can be observed on the runways.

Foreign sources have reported that Israeli air force have recently been operating in targeting Syrian airports to prevent Iranian planes carrying weapons from landing in Syria.

According to information about the attack last week, the Iranian plane was unable to land and was forced to return to its course.

Last Monday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry considered that the Israeli allegations about targeting Iranian sites in Syria were unfounded.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a press conference that “the Zionist entity’s allegations about the attack on Iranian forces in Syria are unfounded, and that Iran’s presence in Syria is an advisory presence,” according to the Iranian news agency – IRNA.

On Tuesday evening, Israel launched missile attacks on Aleppo International Airport, most of which were successfully confronted by the Syrian air defense forces, causing severe damage to the airport’s main runway.
