Israel unces its readiness to implement the first phase of Trump’s plan for the iannommediate release of all prisoners to end the war
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that, in light of Hamas’s response, Israel is preparing to implement the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan for the immediate release of all prisoners.
“In light of Hamas’s response, Israel is preparing to implement the first phase of the Trump plan for the immediate release of all kidnapped individuals,” the office said in a statement.
The Israeli Prime Minister office added: “We’ll continue to work in full cooperation with the US president and his team to end the war in accordance with the principles set forth by Israel and which are consistent with President Trump’s vision”.
Hamas, announced on Friday evening that it had submitted its response to US President Donald Trump’s plan to stop the war in the Gaza Strip to mediators.
It also renewed its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independent technocrats, based on Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.
For his part, US President Donald Trump, in response to Hamas’s decision to accept his proposal to cease the war in Gaza, declared that the movement was ready for a lasting peace and that Israel must immediately cease its bombing of Gaza.
Hamas’s response to the US President’s proposal to cease the war in Gaza was widely welcomed and supported by a number of international leaders and officials, as well as influential Arab countries involved in the issue.
