Iranian Supreme Leader responds to former Israeli defense minister letter

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei published a letter in response to former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant’s claim that Israel has eyes and ears everywhere.

Iran’s Supreme Leader said on his official website, “An analysis of the message’s content shows that we are facing widespread psychological propaganda”.

Ali Khamenei added that Galant presents an exaggerated image of Israeli intelligence superiority.

He stated that the claim that Israel monitors all movements and has complete control over Iran’s decision-making structure, and even knows about decisions before they are made, represents an exaggerated picture of Israeli capabilities.

About a week ago, Yoav Galant sent a letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, writing, “Your nuclear dream has collapsed… now you must choose”.

“We’ve never met, but I am certain we know a lot about each other”.

Galant also wrote to Khamenei, “I’ve known you for nearly three decades, and I have studied every critical stage of your leadership… I’ve followed your decisions, your worldview, and the network of envoys you built throughout the region… I understood not only your goals, but also the methods you believed you would use to achieve them”.

Galant detailed how the Israeli security establishment successfully dismantled Iran’s plans to destroy Israel, saying, “I was responsible for transforming decades of Israeli intelligence into a single, coordinated military plan… a plan that cut through the ‘ring of fire’ like a hot knife through butter and ultimately led to its downfall… What happened in June wasn’t another round of fighting, but rather the strategic collapse of a system built over four decades”.

Galant stated that Israel systematically dismantled Hamas’s leadership, Hezbollah’s weapons caches, and missile factories.

It flew over Tehran as well as Tel Aviv, eliminated senior leaders and scientists, attacked surface-to-surface missile systems, and crushed your air defense system.

“Your nuclear program and infrastructure have been set back years,” he added.

Galant wrote about the Israeli intelligence penetration of Iran, which led to the exposure of the Supreme Leader’s every move, saying, “Beyond the material damage, a deeper truth was revealed: We see everything… We hear everything… We are everywhere… We knew your schedules, your activity locations, your media outlets, your conversations with your close allies, most of whom have left you, in Beirut, Damascus, and Tehran… Your timetables, your contingency plans, your vulnerabilities… In more ways than one, we knew more about you than you know about yourselves”.

In conclusion, Galant wrote about the options available to Iran from now on: either return to plans to destroy Israel, or rebuild its country and its people.
