Iranian Revolutionary Guard: We’ve prepared different scenarios to deal with Israel
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval force, Alireza Tangsiri, said that the Guards have prepared a number of different scenarios to confront Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning him not to play with fire.
This comes as indications have increased in the past hours about the possibility of Israel responding to the missile attack launched by Iran on October 1.
On Saturday, the Israeli media said that the Israeli army is preparing for a major attack on Iran, and that the attack will be serious, large and important, and not a secondary event.
On October 1, Iran launched a massive missiles attack on Israel, the second of its kind in the history of the two countries, targeting Israeli military facilities with hypersonic missiles used for the first time.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed that this attack came in response to the assassination of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, and one of the leaders of the Revolutionary Guard.
In this context, Tangsiri stressed that Iranian forces have been prepared to deal with all types of threats over the past years, stressing that “the Americans won’t be allowed to threaten the security of the Strait of Hormuz”.
On the other hand, Netanyahu said on Saturday that Tel Aviv has the right to respond to Iran and will do so.
Netanyahu stated that “Iran is behind all the threats against Israel… They fired hundreds of missiles at us in one of the largest attacks in history,” stressing that “no country in the world would accept such an attack, including Israel”.
