International Justice holds the first session of a case against Germany regarding Gaza next April
Next April, the International Court of Justice will hold the first session of a case filed by Nicaragua against Germany for supporting the Israeli genocide in Gaza, by providing political, financial, and military support to Israel.
International Justice said in a statement on Friday that hearings on requests for interim measures in the case filed by Nicaragua against Germany this March will be held from April 8 to 9.
Nicaragua will submit its files on April 8, while the German side will defend on April 9.
Nicaragua accuses Germany of not fulfilling its international obligations in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip.
Nicaragua claims that Germany facilitated Israel’s commission of genocide and failed to fulfill its obligations to prevent genocide by providing political, financial and military support to Israel and suspending funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
