The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that human injuries and material losses were recorded as a result of shrapnel falling on a house following the interception of aerial targets, at dawn on Wednesday.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense reported that two missiles were intercepted in the Riyadh region (center) and a drone in the Eastern Province (east), and 9 other drones as soon as they entered the country’s airspace.

The Kuwait News Agency quoted a statement from the Ministry of Defense as saying that a number of hostile air targets were monitored and intercepted inside the country’s airspace at dawn on Wednesday.

“These hostile targets were dealt with and destroyed,” the statement added.

“This resulted in shrapnel falling as a result of the interception of a house in the country, which resulted in human and material injuries,” the statement said, without details on the number of injuries.

In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of 9 drones as soon as they entered the country’s airspace, without further details.

Later, the Saudi ministry of defense said two cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed in the city of al Kharj, 100 kilometers southeast of Riyadh.

It added that a drone in the eastern region was also intercepted and destroyed.

The defense ministries of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia didn’t indicate the source of the attacks.

However, it comes in the context of Iran’s continued targeting of what it describes as “US interests” in eight Arab countries, namely Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Iraq, since dawn on Saturday, following the start of an ongoing military aggression by Israel and the United States.

An Iraqi security source said that a drone was shot down near Baghdad airport without any human casualties or material damage.

The Israeli army announced that it had monitored the firing of rockets from Iran towards Israeli territory, the first on Wednesday, which coincided with another barrage from Lebanese territory.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it had spotted a new barrage of ballistic missiles from Iran, and that air defense systems were working to intercept them.

As a result, sirens sounded in various regions of the country.

From the northern bank, the Israeli military said it had spotted several rockets passing through Lebanese territory.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said sirens sounded in the northern Israeli cities of Safed and the Upper Galilee.

Israel imposes strict control over the publication of casualties caused by the fall or interception of Iranian missiles, and prohibits the circulation of any views in this regard.
