Former Israeli Prime Minister: What Israel is doing in Gaza is considered to be a war crime with thousands of innocent Palestinians are being killed

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that thousands of innocent Palestinians are being killed, and described what Israel is currently doing in the Gaza Strip as “approaching a war crime”.

“What Israel is doing now in Gaza is close to a war crime,” Olmert said in an interview with the BBC.

Olmert added, “This is a war without a goal, a war with no hope of achieving anything that could save the lives of the Israeli hostages in Gaza”.

He continued, “The apparent nature of the war is that thousands of innocent Palestinians are being killed, in addition to many Israeli soldiers,” adding that “In every way, this is disgraceful”.
