Former Israeli intelligence chief: The United States may not supply Israel with weapons in any future multi-front war

The former head of the Israeli Military Intelligence Division, AMAN, Aharon Zeevi Farkash, warned that the United States may not supply Israel with weapons in any future war.

The former head of the intelligence division, during a broadcast hosted by Haaretz newspaper, indicated that after the start of the military escalation two weeks ago, he warned against waging a multi-front war.

His remarks came in reference to the recent missile launches from Gaza, southern Lebanon and Syria, all of which took place within a few days, in response to the continued Israeli aggression against Palestinian worshipers and the renewed incursions in Jerusalem.

Zeevi Farkash said, according to intelligence information, that Iran, Hezbollah, and the Palestinians are establishing a massive multi-front axis in the region, stressing that Israeli politicians, including ministers and cabinet members, are oblivious to this information.

He added, “This is one of the few times we ask the political echelon to beware of a possible major war”.

Zeevi Farkash also talked about the state of rift in the Israeli society recently, by saying: “I can clearly say, based on intelligence information, that the enemies are aware that there is a widening rift, and some of us are aware of that,” stressing the internal political and social crises facing Israel.

Zeevi Farkash explained that this is one of the few times in which we ask the political echelon to beware of a possible major war, and linked this warning to the ongoing internal political crisis in Israel as a result of the ongoing judicial amendments crisis.

He stressed that relations with the United States are important to the national security of the State of Israel, warning that these relations are currently in danger, especially due to the impact of Netanyahu’s judicial amendments on them.
