US President Donald Trump has renewed his demand that Saudi Arabia’s king Salman bin Abdul Aziz pay more money for Washington’s protection of his role.

“We defend very rich countries and in return they do not pay us or pay very little”, Trump said at a Republican rally in Minnesota.

“For example, Saudi Arabia is a very rich country and we are defending But they pay us little in return”.

“They pay only 30 percent of what I assume and I told King Salman you do not mind paying the army that protects you”, Trump said.

“I ask you to be sure that I am very serious”, he said.

“It is billions of dollars and the Saudis will pay”.

This is the third time in a week that Trump has spoken of the need to pay Riyadh more money to Washington, after similar statements in two rallies in Mississippi last Tuesday and the state of West Virginia last Saturday.

Trump follows the policy of extorting money from the Saudi regime, which he described during his campaign in 2016 as a “dairy cow” that generates gold and dollars and has repeatedly asked him to pay for protection.

“There are very rich countries in the Middle East that will not stay for one week without our protection, To pay for it”.

The new funds to be paid by the Saudi regime to Trump will be added to the $ 460 billion granted to the United States through a weapons deal made during the US president’s visit to Riyadh last year and another $ 200 billion provided by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman during his visit to the United States in March.
