Erdogan will discuss the Syrian issue with Putin next Monday
Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawish Oglu announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss the Syrian issue with President Vladimir Putin next Monday.
“We want to achieve a political settlement of the Syrian crisis and President Erdogan will discuss the situation in Syria with President Putin on Monday”, Anadolu news agency quoted Oglu as saying.
“The situation in Idlib is getting worse, and we are making efforts on both bilateral and trilateral levels to stop attacks on civilians”, he said.
“We have made vigorous efforts in Geneva and Astana and want a political solution”, he said, adding that his country was ready to “cooperate with everyone in the fight against terrorism.
According to the news the meeting between the two leaders will take place at the Russian Summer camp in Suchi this Monday.
