Elysee announces the stability of Macron’s health after his infection with Coronavirus

The Elysee Palace announced in a press released on Saturday, that the health condition of French President Emmanuel Macron has stabilized after he was infected with Coronavirus.

The statement stated that the results of the tests conducted by Macron are reassuring and indicated that the president is still showing symptoms of Coronavirus, including coughing, muscle pain and fatigue.

Macron announced in a video posted on Twitter on Friday that he is in good condition, but he still suffers from symptoms of illness such as headache, coughing and fatigue, and Macron promised in the video to his citizens that he would inform them about the course of the disease with him daily.

On Thursday, the French Presidency Office announced that Macron, 42, had performed a test to detect Coronavirus and had tested positive.

In the aftermath, the President isolated himself at the Presidential Residence of Latern, on the side of the garden of the Palace of Versailles.

France is among the European countries that have been severely affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, and the number of deaths in the country exceeded the 60,000 by Saturday.
