Elon Musk activates Starlink service for the Iranian public

Elon Musk said on Saturday that the Starlink satellite internet service is now available to the Iranian people.
On Friday, Iranian authorities announced that they were restricting access to the internet and imposing a comprehensive ban on the instant messaging application WhatsApp.
Fox News reported that Mark Levin, host of Life, Liberty & Levin, called on Musk to “turn on Starlink” for the Iranian people during his appearance on Fox News’ with Sean Hannity on Friday.
Levin tweeted about Musk possibly activating Starlink, to which the Tesla founder replied, “Internet service activated”.
Earlier, Iranian users reported severe internet service disruptions in multiple regions, including partial or complete disconnections, extremely slow browsing, and difficulty accessing websites and applications.
This restriction came after Israel launched its Rising Lion attack, launched early Friday morning, against nuclear and military facilities and residential areas in Iran.
