Democrat Representatives demand the protection of the Palestinians
Large number of American Democrat representatives called on their country to take action to stop the violence practiced by Israel towards the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Senator Bernie Sanders, of the Democrat Party in the United States of America, urged the administration of his country to deter the actions of extremist groups close to the Israeli government towards Palestinian families in Jerusalem.
In a tweet, Sanders called on the government to forcefully deter Israeli attacks against Palestinians, and prevent families from being deported from their homes.
On the other hand, the young democrat representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, called on her government to play a more leadership role in order to protect the rights of the Palestinian people from the violent practices of the Israeli army during the month of Ramadan.
In a tweet on Twitter, she called on her country’s government to play more leadership roles in protecting the rights of the Palestinian people.
Democratic Representative, Mary Newman wrote: “Palestinian families have the right to live in Sheikh Jarrah.
I call upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately condemn the violation of international law represented by the forcible expulsion of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem.
US Representative of Palestinian origin, Rachida Talayeb, appealed to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in which she said: “Minister Blinken, when will the United States condemn the racist violence practiced against the Palestinians?
Is your policy to support those who steal Palestinian homes and burn their lands?
Millions of tax funds go annually to support the racist Netanyahu government and a racist state”.
Many democratic politicians also condemned the arbitrary policies of Israel towards the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank, led by Representative from Minnesota Ilhan Omar, Representative from Missouri Corey Bush, Representative from Indianapolis, Andrey Carson, Representative from Michigan Debbie Dingle, and Representative from State Wisconsin Mark Buchan.
