Continuous clashes between the Syrian army and ISIS remaining in the Syrian desert
The Syrian army continues its efforts to eliminate the remnants of the “ISIS” organization in the Syrian desert, amidst noticeable activity of the latter that extended to the eastern Euphrates.
Violent clashes had erupted since this morning, in the area of Jabal al Bishri and at the “Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa” triangle, indicating that since yesterday evening and until now, Russian planes carried out about 40 air strikes targeting the sites of ISIS throughout the Syrian desert.
The ongoing clashes between the Syrian army and ISIS have resulted in the death of 16 militants from ISIS, indicating that the number of deaths is expected to rise due to the presence of wounded, some of them in serious cases, in addition to the presence of information about other dead.
Parallel to this, the areas under the control of SDF supported by the US forces, east of the Syrian Euphrates, are witnessing “a very large continuous activity of ISIS cells, without any actual movement by the SDF and the US forces to limit this Activity.
On the twelfth of last month, the Syrian army managed to kill a number of ISIS militants during clashes on the eastern axis of the Athria area in the eastern countryside of Hama.
