Bloomberg: Qatar plans to compete with Dubai as a financial center in the region

Bloomberg has revealed the high cost that Qatar is spending seeking to compete with Dubai as a regional financial center, including through attracting companies that will work in the future rebuild of Syria.
Qatar has continued its feverish pursuit of giving foreign companies free headquarters and a five-year capital, in exchange for a 10-year commitment to Doha.
Bloomberg was quoted as saying that the CEO of the Qatar Financial Center (QFC), Yousuf Al Jaidah, is preparing to launch his new plan within the scope of dreams of competing Dubai’s regional role as the financial and economic center of the region.
Bloomberg said Qatar had allocated $ 2 billion to market itself as a competitor to Dubai, which is the regional center for money and business.
As a business center, the Qatar Competition Program is based on the same marketing methods used by the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but with a focus on companies operating in Kuwait, Oman and Iraq, following the Arab Quartet boycott, and spreading the impression that the State of Qatar Can provide services to companies that will contribute to the reconstruction of Syria.
