The commanders of the northern and central regions of the Israeli army was injured in southern Lebanon
The commanders of the northern and central regions of the Israeli army injured in the southern Lebanon region, after an operational accident, according to an army statement.
The statement explained that during an operational patrol in southern Lebanon, on Friday evening, one of the patrol vehicles overturned, and onboard was the commander of the Northern Region, Major General Ori Gordin, and the commander of the Central Region, Major General Avi Bluth.
According to the statement, Major General Ori Gordin sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for examinations.
The past month of October was heavy in terms of casualties that the Israeli army suffered, after it recorded an unprecedented number of losses and deaths due to the escalation of Lebanese and Palestinian resistance operations alike.
The Israeli army recorded 88 deaths in October, following a series of various operations on the Gaza and Lebanese fronts, which included launching rockets, attack drones, and deadly operations and ambushes of the occupation forces.
