A meeting at the Security Council and a meeting between the Iranian Foreign Minister and his counterparts in a European country… A major Iranian attack targets several Israeli sites

The UN Security Council will hold a new meeting on Friday morning to discuss the military escalation between Iran and Israel, according to an announcement from Guyana, which holds the council presidency for the month of June.
This meeting comes in response to a request submitted by Iran and supported by Russia, China, and Pakistan.
The upcoming meeting follows a previous emergency session last week and is expected to begin at 10:00 am New York time (14:00 GMT).
In a parallel context, a German diplomatic source revealed that the foreign ministers of Germany, France, and Britain intend to meet their Iranian counterparts, Friday, in Geneva.
According to the source, the European ministers will first meet with the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, at the German consulate, before meeting with the Iranian foreign minister, as part of European efforts to reopen the nuclear issue.
The European talks, which are being conducted in coordination with the United States, aim to obtain Iranian guarantees that Tehran’s nuclear program will be used for civilian purposes only.
The source stated that the dialogue will later develop into a technical discussion at the expert level.
On the ground, the Israeli army announced new airstrikes targeting sites believed to contain surface-to-surface missiles in western Iran.
Army spokesman Avi Divrin said that Israeli aircraft targeted launch and missile depots, stressing that the air force attacks any attempt to reuse the targeted sites, warning against any efforts to rebuild “terrorist infrastructure”.
Meanwhile, the Iranian capital, Tehran, is experiencing a state of anxiety, with increased traffic on roads leading out of the city, which is home to approximately 10 million people.
Iranian officials confirmed that at least 224 people were killed in the Israeli raids, most of them civilians, although this toll hasn’t been updated for several days.
In Israel, sirens sounded warning of missile attacks from Iran, while no serious damage was reported, a driver suffered minor shrapnel injuries, according to ambulance crews.
