Zelensky: We sent 500 tons of flour to Syria
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country sent 500 tons of flour to Syria.
This came in a post on X, Friday, in which he explained that they provided flour with the aim of helping the Syrian people.
Zelensky explained that 500 tons of Ukrainian flour were sent to Syria within the framework of the “Grain from Ukraine” humanitarian aid program, which is implemented by Kiev in cooperation with the World Food Program.
He pointed out that this aid will be delivered to 167,000 people from 33,250 families in the coming weeks.
He also expressed his wishes for security and stability for Syria and its people.
