Yemeni security services reveal details of an American-Israeli spy network that was arrested
The security services in the Yemeni capital Sana’a revealed on Thursday new confessions of members of the US-Israeli spy cell that has worked in various institutions since 2015, which it revealed two days ago.
The new confessions showed that the US embassy assigned to local elements various recruitment operations for some personalities, government officials and others, as the embassy had many programs related to these operations, the most important of which is the international visitor program related to sending targeted personalities to the United States for about a month.
The acknowledgments noted that the topics of the International Visitor Program vary from year to year according to the requirements of the target groups each year, and according to the programs and topics set by the CIA.
According to the statement, the CIA recruitment programs implemented by the Cultural Attaché at the US embassy include the Bright Master’s Program, the Postdoctoral Program, the Fellowship Program, the Cultural Exchange Program and the Spokespersons Program.
According to the spy network’s confessions, the work to prepare the participants in the international visitor program is done through moral projection and intellectual and emotional preparation to serve and implement US policies.
The confessions pointed out that there are a number of scholarships that the US embassy offers in various attachés with the aim of attracting and recruiting the targeted elements, as there are educational scholarships targeting outstanding high school graduates to study English in American institutes.
The various American bodies, especially the institutes and the cultural media attaché, worked to perpetuate the state of fascination with Western culture to entrap the distinguished segment of young people and other groups, as the US embassy and other Western bodies carried out careful studies of Yemeni society in order to facilitate its targeting operations.
On Monday, the security services in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, revealed a large US-Israeli spy network, operating in various institutions, since 2015.
The head of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Abdul Hakim Hashem al Khaiwani, said in a statement that “the discovered network collected important information on various fields, carried out direct espionage technical operations for the benefit of enemy intelligence to obtain sovereign secret information, and provided it to hostile intelligence services”.
The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul Malik al Houthi, stressed that the dismantling of the dangerous spy network operating in the service of the United States is a major and important victory.
He added that the spy network exposes the conspiratorial subversive face of the United States, which violates the sovereignty of countries and exploits others.
