Yedioth Ahronoth: Israel faces a war front with Washington
The increase in tension between Israel and the United States, against the backdrop of increased bombing of the Gaza Strip, which became clear to all Israeli media outlets.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that the US administration is wrong in assessing the situation in the Middle East, and believes that it will strengthen its position in the region by obtaining a humanitarian truce and supplying the Strip with fuel.
Yedioth Ahronoth explained that Israel, in addition to fighting on several fronts in Gaza, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon, is now facing the American front, where it doesn’t open fire, but rather faces pressure from it to mitigate the effects of the war on the Gaza Strip and Hamas.
Yedioth Ahronoth stressed that these pressures force the Israeli army to accelerate its operations to complete the greatest possible amount of work, before imposing a ceasefire, and we therefore expect more casualties.
The danger of losing support from an ally, but it stressed the need to stand firm in the face of all challenges, even if they come from an ally.
The United States wants to achieve stability in the Middle East at the expense of Israel; So that it can focus on achieving victory in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, competing with China for hegemony, and regaining its position in the Middle East that it lost to Beijing, and to some extent to Moscow.
The war on the American front has only just begun, and it’s expected to intensify.
