Washington is looking for a “contractor” to infiltrate to the Syrian scene
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jordan announced that it plans to study the political and economic situation in Syria in an indication of Washington’s continued interest in the country.
The agency noted in its document that the project will be managed only by a US company with expertise in international cooperation.
According to the terms of the offer, the contractor should prepare analytical reports on the subjects chosen by the agency.
The tasks assigned to the project’s executor include “conducting in-depth analysis and general presentation of developments, as well as political and economic analysis in the context of the Syrian arena”.
The agency said it requires a comprehensive assessment and analysis of the situation before moving forward with humanitarian action there.
According to the document it to reduce these risks, a comprehensive, detailed and up-to-date analysis of the situation, strong relations with Syrian organizations, institutions and individuals, as well as the political and diplomatic resources of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other US government bodies, as well as international organizations, are essential.

Manuelo didn’t rule out to be back to the interest of the Americans in the preparations for the upcoming presidential elections in Syria in particular, and added: “It seems that they are interested in the spread of protest tendencies and the extent of support for the population of certain areas of President Bashar Al Assad.
I think they feel the pulse and are preparing for the presidential elections in Syria”.
Experts believe that the emergence of projects in the collection of information and conduct political research on the situation in Syria, indicates that Washington has not lost interest in this country, despite the decision to withdraw US troops from its territory.
