The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that US intelligence has prepared a report that talks about Israel planning to launch attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Based on sources familiar with intelligence information, the newspaper said that US intelligence had prepared a report stating that Israel was preparing to launch attacks on Iran.
The report indicated that the risk of an Israeli attack on Iran increased in the last days of the term of former US President Joe Biden, which ended on January 20.
The report also indicated that Iran’s military infrastructure had weakened recently, warning of the possibility of an escalation of military activities in the Middle East.
In another report, US intelligence detected that Israel was preparing to target Iranian nuclear facilities in the first days of US President Donald Trump taking office.
The report stated that Israel is planning to launch massive attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities with the aim of weakening Iran.
Sources familiar with the intelligence report noted that Trump is more likely to support the attacks than Biden, which could prompt Israel to pressure his administration for support.
These sources confirmed that Israel would need US military support and logistical supplies if the attacks were carried out.
