A Russian missile strike on an industrial facility in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa, as falling debris from an air strike sparked two fires in the eastern districts of Kiev, officials said on Thursday.

Serhiy Prachuk, a spokesman for the military department in Odessa, wrote on Telegram that two people were wounded in the attack on Odessa.

The mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, said on Telegram that a fire had broken out in a garage in the Darnitsy district of the capital.

Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration in Kiev, said on Telegram that a fire broke out in non-residential buildings in the Desnyansky district, east of the capital, however, he didn’t provide more information about the victims.

He added that Kiev was attacked with cruise missiles and that the air defenses shot them all down.
