US-Ukrainian talks conclude in the Saudi capital to discuss the war with Russia with a positive atmosphere
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umrov announced the conclusion of talks between Ukrainian and US experts in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which began on Sunday evening.
Umarov explained in a statement early Monday that the meeting, which discussed issues related to ending the Russian-Ukrainian war, was fruitful.
He added that the two delegations discussed several issues during the meeting, most notably the security of energy facilities and infrastructure.
It’s worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has previously hosted a number of meetings to discuss ways to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
Among the most prominent meetings were the February 18 meeting between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, as well as a meeting between Rubio and his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sepah.
