US report: The UAE sent a warning message by Israel and the United States to the Syrian president threatening him in case of any attack by Hezbollah and or Syria occurred
The UAE warned the Syrian government against interfering in the war between Hamas and Israel or allowing attacks on Israel from Syrian territory, according to Axios website.
The UAE played the role of a correspondent to convey the American-Israeli warning message to the Syrian president.
According to Axios website, Tuesday, the UAE sent messages to high-ranking Syrian officials in this context, amid international concern about the war extending and escalating into a regional conflict.
Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed spoke with Syrian President Bashar al Assad after the beginning of the Hamas attack last Saturday.
According to Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, on Monday, the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, received messages through senior officials in the French government, which included a threat to use American naval force and cause possible damage to the Syrian government, and its president, if Hezbollah joined the war alongside Hamas.
Yedioth Ahronoth added that French officials conveyed Israel’s warning message that Hezbollah’s joining the campaign would lead Israel to consider attacking Syria, including the personal security of Syrian President Bashar al Assad, to the point of killing him.
