Türkiye invites the leaders of 5 Arab countries, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia, to participate in a massive march in support of Palestine
Türkiye sent invitations to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Lebanon and Jordan, to participate in a march in support of Palestine, which will be held in Istanbul, Saturday.
The Turkish Sabah newspaper reported, citing sources, that an invitation had been sent to heads of foreign countries, as well as spiritual leaders, to participate in the march.
It’s expected that heads of major countries will attend, in addition to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to draw attention to Israeli atrocities and support the Palestinian cause.
The invitation included Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, as well as the leaders of Libya, Lebanon and Jordan.
However, Sabah newspaper didn’t indicate whether the Turkish side had obtained the approval of these leaders to participate in the march.
Sabah newspaper also indicated that many actors and influencers in the media, sports, art, business, and Palestinian figures will participate in the march.
