Turkish press information close to the announcement of the integration of all factions of the Free Syrian Army into a unified formation called “Syrian National Army”
A Turkish media has revealed the announcement of the integration of all FSA factions under the banner of the National Army.
“All the Free Army factions in Idlib, Afrin and the Euphrates Shield will be merged and will work under the banner of the Syrian National Army”, said the well-known journalist.
“The official decision according to the Turkish media, will be announced this weekend”.
This came amid growing US fears of Turkey’s military operation in northern Syria, as all forces under the banner of the Syrian National Army will be led by the Minister of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government, Major General Salim Idris.
There are a speculations that, these new formation is the introduction, to launch a military operation against the Kurdish protection units in the northern Syria.
