The Turkish Interior Ministry announced the arrest of a suspect of car bomb in Moscow, Wednesday.
Russian had media reported that a 49-year-old Russian military intelligence officer was seriously injured on Wednesday morning after a 500-gram explosive device placed under his car exploded in Moscow.
According to the details, the explosive device was placed under the driver’s seat of the Land Cruiser SUV.
According to the Russian media, the officer’s wife was injured.
As for the suspect, according to officials, investigations are still underway to determine the circumstances of the crime, but some said that a surveillance camera recording showed a young man approaching the car before the incident, and then fled.
A month earlier, local media reported that the Russian security service had foiled an assassination attempt on a high-ranking officer, in which the perpetrator was trying to plant a 630-gram device near a building.
