Turkey: the crisis of sovereignty over its territory

President of the Turkish Regime Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech in which he spoke on some issues, most notably the talk that the Turkish forces will not withdrawing from the territories controlled by it forces and the Syrian armed opposition groups operating under its supervision in north of Syria until a “Democratic” elections are being held in Syria.

Erdoğan has spoke in a way similar to the concept of tossing ash on the eyes, to circumvent obviously on the involvement of his regime in the years of the Syrian war with funding and supporting many armed groups that fought and fighting in Syria from the organization of the so-called the Islamic State to the Al Nusra group which is the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda, reaching many of Syrian opposition groups.

Today, Turkey remains the safe haven for various groups, which will threaten Turkey’s internal security in the near future, no doubt about that.

Erdoğan said also in his speech that the United States had sent thousands of tons of weapons and equipment, according to the Turkish president, to what he called them “terrorists” and here we interpret the term “terrorists” with Kurdish groups funded and supported by the United States which Erdoğan was talking about obviously.

But what about the other groups?

The answer … the Turkish regime took care of their support!

There is no secret of the Turkish destructive role in the war in Syria.

Erdoğan and his regime did not hesitate to provide various kinds of support to the various groups fighting in Syria.

He also did not hesitate to use the Syrian refugees’ card in its ugliest way to black mail the EU, whenever he wanted some money under the pretext of that Turkey is offering support to the Syrian refugees and provide them with various kinds of help and support!

The Erdoğan lying is still on, despite the passage of a number of years, the support of the Syrian refugees in Turkey was given and provided by the Turkish people themselves, who have found themselves in a humanitarian and religious position demanding the support of those in need.

What the president of the Turkish regime is talking about is like hypocrisy and public lies, and its consequences will soon be met.

And even his cooperation with Russia, after the shooting down the Russian fighter in late 2015, two months after the start of the Russian military intervention in the Syrian war, which reflected the results on the ground very quickly.

Mr. Erdoğan has become aware that even the United States of America is no longer able to offer anything to him, with the instability of relations between the two countries and the escalation of the crisis between Turkey and the United States and for many reasons which we will not go into in this article.

Today, we see various crises and dilemmas, that mostly causing further embarrassment to the Turkish regime.

Ironically, a few days after the Turkish president’s speech, the story of the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi , and his disappearance after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, and the news that he had been assassinated inside the consulate building or kidnapped and smuggled to Saudi Arabia from the consulate to the airport where a plane was waiting to take him to Riyadh, with Turkish complicity through some Turkish security officers who apparently had seized from the Saudis the price of facilitating the process.

Regardless of what happened to the Saudi journalist on the Turkish territory, while waiting to reveal more information in the coming days, this incident is another fact proves once again Erdoğan’s hypocrisy.

What can be summed up after saying that Turkey has many crises looming and may exceed the stages of the economic problem to reach the level of Turkish internal security, especially after the increasing incidents of violence between Turks and Syrians inside Turkey, which was not the latest stories, the bloody clash between Turks and Syrians in the Turkish city of Shanli Urfa.

With the growing Turkish popular anger of the presence of Syrians on Turkish territory and the worsening economic situation with the threat of Kurdish retaliation against the actions of Turkey and its militias in Afrin, and the existence of dormant cells of the Islamic State Organization in Turkey, which may carry out terrorist acts inside Turkey without a doubt, The Turkish regime head by the Supreme ruler Mr. Erdoğan, must realize that the “Ottoman” rope he used to get rid of his opponents and enemies is slowly approaching his neck.
