Turkey announces a new missile innovation that may contribute to strengthening its military capabilities

Turkish media reported, Saturday, that Turkey succeeded in testing the first homemade medium-range missile engine in the famous Eskişeh Province.
The Turkish news “Anadolu Agency” quoted the statements of Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank, who said: “The engine developed by Turkish engineers carries great importance, in terms of upgrading defense industries”.
Varank explained that this type of engine was designed for use in medium-range anti-ship missiles.
The Turkish minister also pointed out that the engine can be used in many different platforms, noting that despite its small size, it is capable of generating a power of about 400 Horse power.
