Turkey and Russia are now drawing the map of tomorrow’s world, as they continue to shape the current political scene, at the expense of the West, especially the United States and France.

This came in a report published by the Swiss newspaper, Lotan, last Thursday, titled “Turkey and Russia Draw the World of Tomorrow,” in reference to the major role of the two countries in ending the deadly conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The newspaper described Turkey and Russia as the “biggest winner” of the ceasefire in the Caucasus region, pointing out that the two countries continue to shape the political scene, while Donald Trump is still busy preparing the White House for his successor, Joe Biden.

She added that the leaders of Moscow and Ankara have one thing in common, and that is their “growing rejection of the West”.

The newspaper explained, “Moscow and Ankara are investing in lands abandoned by American withdrawals and European imbalances.

They use all available means to put themselves at the center of the political game”.

the Swiss newspaper pointed out that the policies of the two countries now “have in short put France and the United States out of the political game again,” and noted the role of the two countries in Libya and Syria via the Astana talks.
