Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly directed his fiercest attack and harshest criticism so far against former President Donald Trump, indicating that Trump isn’t sincere in his positions and statements.

Trump’s longest-serving staffer said the former president believes those who defend their country in uniform, are shot or seriously injured in combat, or spend years tortured as prisoners of war, are all suckers.

He continued, “He’s a person who isn’t sincere in his positions regarding protecting the lives of others, including women, working men, minorities, Christians, and Jews”.

Kelly also said that Trump is a person who has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what the United States means, indicating that whoever suggests that the dedicated warrior who served his country for 40 years in times of peace and war shouldn’t attend and should lose his life on charges of treason is a person who admires tyrants, and murderous dictators.

He added, “Trump has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our constitution, and the rule of law,” adding, “There is nothing more that can be said… May God help us”.

Kelly revealed details of a number of incidents that occurred during Trump presidential term and statements he made behind closed doors regarding attacks on American service members and veterans.

The former president, for example, proposed imposing the maximum penalty on General Mark Milley, the outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, considering that he deserved the death penalty because of his previous contacts with his Chinese counterparts.

He also once mocked a disabled veteran and asked not to bring those with disabilities to public events.

He once told Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, “Why would you bring people like those here? nobody wants to see that injured person” – referring to an US soldier named Luis Avila who was seriously injured by an IED explosion in December 2011 in Afghanistan.

Also, he told a crowd in 2015 that former Vietnam prisoner of war Sen. John McCain, a Republican from Arizona, “wasn’t a war hero,” and called him a “loser”.

Kelly also said that Trump described former President George H.W. Bush, whose plane was shot down when he was a Navy pilot in World War II, a “failure”.

The Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is a former commander of the United States Southern Command.

He’s the highest-ranking US officer to lose one of his sons in the war, as his son Robert, who was a first lieutenant in the Marine Corps, was killed in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.

General Kelly’s first term in politics was with the Donald Trump administration, where he was appointed Secretary of Homeland Security and then Chief of Staff at the White House.

He was also known for his desire to distance himself from some of Trump’s hardline positions.
