Trump to Netanyahu… F**k him!
Yesterday’s friends are today’s enemies… as the former US President Donald Trump, attacked former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for congratulating Joe Biden on his victory in the presidential election, saying: “Damn him”.
Journalist Barak Ravid said that Trump criticized Netanyahu “repeatedly during two interviews for my book, Trump’s Peace: Abraham’s Agreements and Reshaping the Middle East,” noting that “the last straw for Trump in his relationship with Netanyahu, was when Netanyahu congratulated Biden on his election victory”.
Ravid quoted Trump as saying: “The first person to congratulate Biden was Bibi!”
“Bibi could have remained silent, but he made a huge mistake”, adding: “I haven’t spoken to him since then… damn him (F**k him)”.
According to Ravid, Trump felt that he helped “ensure Netanyahu’s political survival, but he didn’t get the same in return”.
The former president expressed his anger at the video in which Netanyahu congratulated Biden.
“I loved Bibi,” Trump said… I still love Bibi… But I also love loyalty… Bibi was the first person to congratulate Biden… He didn’t only congratulate him, but he filmed a video of congratulations and talked about their great and great friendship… They had no friendship, because if they were friends, the Obama administration wouldn’t have made a deal with Iran, now they will do it again”.
He stressed that he did more for Israel and Netanyahu than any other president, referring to his decisions to withdraw from the Iranian agreement, move the US embassy to Jerusalem, and recognize the occupied Golan Heights as part of Israel.
Ravid explained that these statements came during a 90-minute interview with Trump at his residence in the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida last April.
