Trump Announced the US withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal and renew imposing sanctions
US President Donald Trump has announced the United States withdrawal from Iran’s nuclear deal and reinstated sanctions against it, describing the deal as “catastrophic” and reinstating sanctions on Tehran.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly welcomed the US decision along with Saudi Arabia as well, while European countries of France, Germany and Britain regret the US decision on the Iranian nuclear deal.
The European Union stated on Tuesday evening its full commitment to the nuclear agreement with Iran, despite the withdrawal of America.
Trump announced that «Today we announce the withdrawal of the United States from the Iranian nuclear deal, adding that we had evidence shows that Iran was „lying“.
Trump added that „Israel published a document proving that the Iranian regime sought to possess a nuclear weapon… Today we have unequivocal evidence that Tehran’s promises to stop enriching uranium were false“.
He considered that „this disastrous agreement gave the Iranian terrorist regime millions of dollars“.
»If you allow this agreement to continue, there will be a nuclear arms race in the Middle East”, Trump said.
«The agreement didn’t limit Iran’s activities to destabilize and support terrorism in the region».
He added that after the recent consultations with America’s allies, «we have shown that we’ll not be able to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons».
After his speech, Trump signed the resolution on the withdrawal of the United States from the nuclear agreement with Iran.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quickly welcome, responding, «We highly appreciate Trump’s decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement with Iran».
«We are determined to prevent Iran from being militarily stationed in Syria and ready to strike anyone who tries to harm us», Netanyahu stated in a news conference after Trump announced a withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran.
The European Union on the other hand, confirmed on Tuesday evening its full commitment to the nuclear agreement with Iran despite the withdrawal of the United States.
EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini stated, «As Europeans, we’ll act according to our strategic interests».
In the first European reaction to US President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran.

Mogherini stressed that the Iranian nuclear agreement is one of the great achievements of international diplomacy”, expressing regrets for the US withdrawal from the agreement.
All the eyes are now on the reaction that will come from Iran, with the resent intense situation between Iran and Israel, that might lead to direct confrontation.
