Sources in the Turkish capital Ankara, said that the tripartite meeting between the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Syria and Russia is likely to take place in the coming days in the United Arab Emirates.

Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, had said a few days ago during his trip to Brazil that the venue for the meeting of the three foreign ministers is still under discussion with the Russian side, and he added that there are several countries.

They’re presented as options for holding it, but this doesn’t exclude the possibility of holding it in Moscow, according to what he said.

On Tuesday evening, the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu held telephone call with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan, in which they discussed several issues.

On Wednesday, the Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed paid an official visit to the Syrian capital, Damascus, during which he met with Syrian President Bashar al Assad and his Syrian counterpart, Faisal al Miqdad.
