The Western Media continues to show its bias towards the Israeli side: An American journalist loses her job at the New York Times because of her solidarity with the Palestinians and her criticism of Israel
Stories of journalists being fired from their jobs in Western media continue, on the grounds of writing and publishing facts about what is happening in Gaza.
In recent incident, New York Times decided to terminate the work of reporter Jazmine Hughes after she signed an open letter accusing Israel of apartheid and genocide in its bloody war on Gaza.
Hughes signed the letter on behalf of the group of Reporters Against the Gaza War last week.
The New York Times said in a statement that after a conversation with Hughes and an explanation that her signature on the letter violated newspaper policy, Hughes announced her resignation.
Israeli newspaper, Yedioth newspaper reported that Hughes had previously tweeted that “Jews are really good with money, which was considered hostile by Jewish circles”.
Hughes’ letter expressed her support for the Palestinians and her opposition to the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
