The US approves $90.5 million tactical vehicle deal for Lebanese army
The US Department of State has approved a potential sale of $90.5 million worth of medium-range tactical vehicles to Lebanon.

The sale of medium-sized tactical vehicles and related equipment worth $90.5 million will enhance the Lebanese Armed Forces’ ability to counter current and future threats, and enable it to effectively implement counter-terrorism measures, the statement noted.
The deal supports US foreign policy and national security goals, he said, and will strengthen Lebanon’s position as an “important partner for political stability and economic progress” in the Middle East.
