The United States imposes sanctions on companies in Russia and China over the Ukraine war
The United States has imposed broad sanctions aimed at reducing Russian military and industrial capabilities, affecting companies in China and other countries against the backdrop of their assistance to Moscow in obtaining weapons for use in the war in Ukraine, according to the US Treasury Department statement on Wednesday.
The US Treasury Department announced that the sanctions include about 300 companies in Russia, China and other countries, which it accuses of supporting the invasion of Ukraine, which Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to be launched in February 2022.
