The United States has stopped supporting electronic warfare equipment on F-16 fighters delivered to Ukraine, after its decision to stop the transfer of intelligence and satellite data.

According to Ukrainian media reports, informed sources said that US President Donald Trump issued a decision to ban support for this equipment, and Washington also prevented the sending of updates to the aircraft systems.

With the upgrades halted, experts say Ukraine’s fighters may struggle to counter Russian aircraft, as electronic warfare systems will lose their ability to react to new signals.

Reports indicate that all F-16 fighters sent to Ukraine have undergone special upgrades by US specialists, including information on electronic warfare systems and radio technical support used by Russian forces.

Earlier, it was reported that the United States had disabled the ability of Ukrainian HIMARS missile launch systems to carry out satellite-guided strikes.
