The Turkish army withdraws from more posts south of Idlib
In parallel with the raids of Russian warplanes on the sites of the terrorist group of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham in the vicinity of towns in Jabal al Zawiya, the Turkish army accelerated the pace of its withdrawal from its military observation points besieged within the Syrian government’s control areas in the western countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib.
Observers have indicated to the situation in the “de-escalation” area in Idlib, that what is happening is evidence of Russia’s annoyance over the Turkey handling of the issue of withdrawing from the illegal and besieged military observation points, in terms of changing the geographical area of those points only without prejudice to the reduction in the number their forces in Idlib and the surrounding countryside, especially south of the Aleppo-Latakia highway known as the “M4” road, according to the pledges made during the military talks with Russian experts on the 16th of last month in Ankara.
Civilian sources in the southern countryside of Idlib confirmed that the observation point in the village of Maarhatat, located adjacent to the Aleppo-Hama highway or the M5 road south of the city of Maarat al Nu`man, entered the line of evacuating it from the Turkish army after the sources monitored last Friday Dismantling of logistical equipment and observation towers at the point that was established last February, while the Syrian Army surrounded the occupation army observation point near the city of Morek in the northern Hama countryside.
The sources revealed the withdrawal of about 50 trucks of the Turkish occupation army from “Maarhatt” loaded with military and logistical equipment through “M5” to the city of Saraqib, and its turn via “M4” to the city of Ariha.
The observation point is in the town of “Nahlia” to the north of it.
To the north of the Aleppo-Latakia highway instead of the southern side, since the evacuation of the first post of the occupation army from “Morek” last month, which is an indication of the extent of pressure exerted by Moscow on Ankara in this regard.
In parallel, the Turkish army continued to evacuate the observation point in “Sher magar”, where more than 50 trucks loaded with heavy weapons and logistical equipment left the point and headed through the village of “Philil” to the observation post located on the hill adjacent to the village of “Qafin” in Jabal al Zawiya, he said.
Civil sources in the western countryside of Hama revealed that, after the Turkish army withdrew two batches of equipment from the point on the 29th of last month and on the third of this month, away from the spotlight.
