The militants of the Islamic Party of Turkestan and the Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) blew up the Al Tuwaina bridge in the plain of Al Ghab in order to block any possibility of smuggling oil derivatives from the areas controlled by the militants to villages under the control of the Syrian government.

According to press sources, Chinese militants affiliated with the Islamic Party of Turkmenistan along with militants from Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) on Wednesday, blew up the remaining parts of the Al Tuwaina bridge to block any attempts to smuggle oil derivatives from the areas of control of the militants to areas controlled by the Syrian government.

Local sources in the plain of Al Ghab said that “the Al Tuwaina bridge, which terrorists blew up with two other bridges, the Sharia Bridge and Beit Al Ras, last September, in an attempt to block the way and armored vehicles of the Syrian army.

But that the bridge remained parts of it valid for the passage of trucks and motorcycles, noting that the smuggling of fuel was in the past from some villages under the control of the government towards the areas controlled by militants, but in recent days there are fears of the Armed terrorist of opposite smuggling attempts using the bridge after some of the militants involved in the transfer of quantities of plastic containers and metal drums by small cars and motorcycles across the said bridge to free the towns of the trench and the incidents under the control of the Syrian government.
