The Sham liberation organization prevented Turkey from conducting its patrols in Idlib!
The Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) prevented the Turkish army from conducting patrols in the demilitarized zone of Idlib under the pretext that the area was “unsafe” and that no patrols could be conducted there without prior authorization and under the exclusive protection of its fighters.
An opposition source close to the National Liberation Front, the largest Turkish militia in Idlib, said that Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) prevented the opposition Turkish backed Al Sham corps militia of the National Liberation Front, from escorting Turkish patrols within the demilitarized zone under the agreement, given that the security of the entire area under its control is due to them, and it is only up to them to decide or accompany any monitoring patrols!
The sources added that the Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) told the Turkish military observation points, which are deployed in the vicinity of Idlib and neighboring villages, that the Turkish army can patrol patrols between those points only, as happened last Friday southeast of Idlib, Proliferation or within the demilitarized zone.
The sources pointed out that the Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) believes that the conduct of Turkish patrols in the demilitarized zone justifies the conduct of Russian patrols in the vicinity of the region to maintain the cessation of escalation and the completion of the application of the rest of the terms of the Russian-Turkish agreement, which is fully rejected by the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda.
The sources said: The Turkish reaction was dull, hasn’t yet crystallized, but it is likely to continue calm and contain the situation, at least during the next few days.
The sources pointed out that the Al Sham Liberation Organization (Al Nusra Front) finds that it continues to violate the areas under the control of the Syrian government forces, justified the legitimacy of these attacks, to the terrorist organizations allied to them such as «Ajnad Al Kaukaz» and «The guards of religion», which refuses to abandon them in response to Russian demands.
In parallel, sources in Idlib said that a meeting between Russian officers and other Turks held last Sunday at the Turkish base located around the city of Izzaz in the northern Aleppo countryside to discuss the fate of the city of Tel Rifaat, and the question of opening the road of Aleppo Gaziantep International.
