At least 19 Palestinians, including children, were killed and others wounded in Israeli shelling targeting tents housing displaced people and a home in various parts of the Gaza Strip since Tuesday evening, as Israel continues to escalate its aggression.

In Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, 13 Palestinians, including a child and her mother, were killed in Israeli shelling that targeted tents housing displaced people east and west of the city, as the Israeli army bombed at least four tents in Khan Yunis, killing 13 Palestinians and wounding others.

In Rafah, a medical source reported that two Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli attack that targeted a tent west of the city.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army bombed the home of the al Hattab family in the al Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, killing four Palestinians and wounding others.

During the night, Israeli military vehicles bombed various areas across the Gaza Strip, but intensified their attacks on the eastern areas south of Gaza City.

Helicopters also fired at residential neighborhoods northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, the Israeli army renewed its warning to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to evacuate the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern governorate, and Khuza’a, Abasan al Kabira, and al Jadidah in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets on these areas, warning residents to evacuate immediately before a strong attack is launched, which the army claims is targeting Hamas.

The Israeli army published a map, marking in red the areas from which Palestinians were warned to evacuate.

Since dawn on Tuesday, Israel has suddenly intensified its genocidal crimes in Gaza, launching violent, widespread airstrikes targeting civilians, resulting in 404 dead and more than 562 injuries.

Tuesday’s attacks represent the largest breach of a fragile ceasefire agreement brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States in January.

Israeli airstrikes targeted inhabited homes, shelters, and tents housing displaced people, causing widespread destruction and unprecedented human suffering.

In early March 2025, the first 42-day phase of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel, which began on January 19, concluded.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is refusing to initiate the second phase of the agreement, seeking to release more Israeli prisoners without fulfilling the commitments of this phase, particularly ending the war of extermination and fully withdrawing from Gaza.

In return, Hamas affirms its commitment to implementing the agreement, demands that Israel abide by all its provisions, and calls on mediators to immediately begin negotiations for the second phase, which includes an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and a complete cessation of hostilities.
