The new Syrian foreign minister reveals why Europe doesn’t want the Syrian refugees to return
The new Foreign Minister of Syria, Faisal al Miqdad, said that European countries don’t want the return of Syrian refugees, but rather are keeping them to serve the elderly.
Faisal al Miqdad criticized, in an interview with Russia Today TV a few days ago (before he became Minister of Foreign Affairs), the stance of Western countries regarding the refugee conference that Syrian Government hosted in Damascus, and called for it as countries that most of them are not considered to be receiving countries for Syrian refugees.
Speaking about the Syrian refugees in Europe, Faisal al Miqdad said, “There are some countries that invested in these refugees, with all the meaning of this word, doctors and professionals who had a major role in the development of Syria”.
He added, “Therefore, the Europeans do not want their return to Syria in the first place, they want their survival in order to serve the old and eroded generation in Europe, which has become an aging generation and needs someone to serve it, and we as a developed country in preparing cadres, they only took the best cadres from Syria”.
These statements are similar to statements made by the Mufti of Syria, Sheikh Ahmed Hassoun, made last year, where he said, “Germany accepts a Syrian who has one or two children to use children in the future as servants in their country… They want workers, they prevent the Syrian who fled with his children from bringing his wife because they only want children”.
He also said that Europeans “live without history and without values.
They live to eat, drink and sleep, and they have no message… We in Syria live with a message and values”.
