The Kremlin comments on allegations of delivering SA-22 Anti Air system by Wagner to Hezbollah
Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the allegations about the supply of Russian weapons by Wagner to Hezbollah in Syria are completely empty and have no basis.
In his interview with the press, Peskov confirmed that Wagner itself doesn’t exist in reality.
“We previously stated that such a group doesn’t exist on the ground, so all these allegations, in general, lack concrete support,” Peskov added.
“There are emergency communication channels with the Russian side via military means, and if there are any genuine concerns about certain matters, they can always be conveyed to our military,” Peskov said.
Previously, reports were raised in the US media regarding the concern expressed by the United States regarding allegations that representatives of Wagner had delivered the SA-22 anti-air system known as Pantsir to Hezbollah in Syria.
