The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation: Hamas is regaining its civilian capacity in northern and central Gaza
Two Israeli security officials said on Friday that the Israeli army informed the political level that Hamas movement had begun to restore its civilian capabilities in northern and central Gaza.
The Israeli official Broadcasting Authority quoted the two unnamed officials as saying, “Hamas has begun to restore its capabilities in the areas where the Israeli army reduced its presence”.
The two officials pointed out that the failure to take decisions on the issue of the day after the war in Gaza contributes to the return of Hamas’ civilian control over parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to the information provided by the Israeli army to the political level, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, “the municipalities that previously operated under Hamas rule have recently begun providing services to the residents of Gaza, who remained in the central and northern regions of the Strip”.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority added, “In addition to the emergency committees that Hamas established for times of emergency, such as the ongoing war”.
More than once, Israel declared that its goal in the war on the Gaza Strip was to eliminate Hamas and free the Israeli prisoners, without achieving either of them despite the devastating war it has been waging on the Gaza Strip since last October 7.
