The Israeli army killed 14 Palestinians, including children and women, on Wednesday in an airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced people at al Hanawi School in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

This comes as part of the genocide that Israel has continued to commit against Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

According to a medical source, “14 martyrs, including children and women, and 12 wounded, arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, following an Israeli bombardment of a tent housing displaced people”.

According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli drone targeted a tent inside al Hanawi School, which houses thousands of displaced families, killing two Palestinians.

Since the war started on October 2023, Palestinian casualties reached to more than 179,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them women and children, and more than 11,000 missing.

Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and famine claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.

Israel has been besieging Gaza for 18 years, leaving approximately 1.5 million Palestinians out of a population of approximately 2.4 million in the Strip homeless after their homes were destroyed in the war of extermination.
