The Israeli army announced his Golani Brigade had lost 92 of its soldiers in a year while Hezbollah call for Israelis to stay away from military areas
The Israeli army revealed that the Golani Brigade, which recently joined the military operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, lost 92 of its soldiers since the events began on October 7, last year.
The Israeli army explained that the brigade participated during the past year in “ongoing combat maneuvers in the Gaza Strip and in defensive missions on the northern border”.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that the Galilee Division, which includes three reserve brigades, joined the forces participating in the war in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
According to the statement, 727 of its soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war, including 346 in Gaza, while 9 soldiers killed during the battles in southern Lebanon.
On the other hand, Hezbollah call for Israelis, Friday evening to stay away from areas where soldiers are gathering in north.
A statement issued by Hezbollah’s operations room, “The Israeli enemy army is using settler homes in some settlements in northern occupied Palestine as gathering centers for its officers and soldiers. Its military bases, which are directing the aggression against Lebanon, are also located inside settlement neighborhoods in major occupied cities such as Haifa, Tiberias, Acre, and others… These homes and military bases are targets for the missile and air force of the Islamic Resistance… Accordingly, we warn settlers against being near these military gatherings in order to preserve their lives and until further notice”.
Hezbollah’s statement continues, “The Islamic Resistance is committed to its covenant and promise to its highest and most sacred martyr, His Eminence the Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, that the settlements in northern occupied Palestine will remain free of settlers until the war on Gaza and Lebanon stops”.
On the same context, the Israeli army issues evacuation orders from time to time for various areas in Lebanon, especially in the south and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
On Friday, the media relations official of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Muhammad Afif, said, “Strength and resistance are what deter the enemy from its crimes, not international resolutions,” warning that “striking Tel Aviv is only the beginning”.
He added, “What happened in recent days confirms that we are still at the beginning, and to the enemy I say that you have only seen a little yet”.
