The Israeli army announced bombing a military site of the Syrian Army after monitoring rocket shells launched towards the occupied Golan
The Israeli army announced, on Monday evening, that it had bombed a Syrian army position, in response to the firing of rocket shells towards the occupied Golan, from inside Syria.
The Israeli army said in a statement posted on its account on X, “A short while ago, a number of missiles were detected that crossed from Syrian territory into Israeli territory, and landed in open areas, and warning sirens were activated”.
The statement added, “Our forces attacked the sources of fire in Syrian territory with artillery, and Israeli army tanks also attacked a Syrian army military site, in response to the firing operations”.
The Israeli army announced in a separate statement, “activating sirens in the Golan heights, after rocket shells were fired from Syrian territory”.
Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, armed factions from Syria have fired rocket shells towards Israel more than once.
